Questions 1, 3, 4, 5, and 8 are questions you might ask a government official to get more than a yes-no answer.
Questions 2, 6, and 7 can be answered with just a simple yes or no answer.
Questions that start with “Did you...”, “Are you...”, Have you...”, “Is there...”, “Aren’t you...”, etc will generally ask yes/no questions.
