Just after Gregor's metamorphose it is possible to see that there is a distance between him and the rest of his family, Kakfa explains what is going on but there is no dialogue to show that the distance between Gregor and his family widens, one example is when Greta thinks that Gregor needs more space, decides to remove Gregor and Gregor is anxious about this, showing the misunderstanding between him and his family.
