When a food worker reports of having such symptoms as nausea or diarrhea, they must stay home and be excluded until the symptoms have been gone for a full 24 hours or until the employe brings a doctors notes stating that the condition is gone or not contagious. This needs to be done since they are working with food and a high level of contamination it need to be sure and safe that their problem isn’t contagious for the rest of the employee’s and the customers themself.
