In one type of dog, black spots (B) are dominant over brown spots (b) and long tails (L) are dominant over short tails (l). Use the dihybrid cross for parents with the genotypes BBLI and BbLl and determine , the like hood of offspring with the genotype

There is a possibility that the parents could get offspring with each genotype because each parent have each genotype. But offspring one usually almost always has dominant genes so their genes would be BBLl, like the parents. But let’s say the second offspring had the recessive gene pool. So their genes would be Bbll because not only do offspring take genes from the parents they can also get the genes from grandparents.
