A retailer buy tokla tea at rs 525 per kg and mixed with soktim tea bought at rs 750 per kg .in what proportion should he mix two kinds of tea so as to make a profi 5% on selling the mixture at Rs 700 per kg .​

Answer: If Tokla Tea is x% in the mix, then the Cost of Mix would be

525 * x% + 750 * (100-x)%

In order to make a 5% profit selling at Rs. 700 would imply:

Cost of Mix * (1 + 5%) = 700

(525 * x% + 750 * (100-x)% ) * (1 + 5%) = 700

Solving for x, we arrive at x = 370/999

Proportion would be x:(1-x) = 370 : 629 for Tokla and Soktim
