Why did the Framers—the men who wrote the Constitution—give the President such limited formal

Answer:Framers were too afraid that a very strong central government would bring up dictatorship. So, in order to restrict the authority of the central government, the Framers decided that in the Constitution, certain powers were denied in the Federal government.
