Answer:

Prompt 1: $1.35

Prompt 2: $4.85

Explanation:

In the first prompt the person buys 3 items, you would want to add up the total price of all 3 of the items. After adding the price of all 3 items then take that number and subtract it from 100. This will give you how much change you recieve.

As for Prompt two they are exactly the same except for one difference, the person buys 4 items total, as you can it says you bought 2 shirts. You will add up all of the items purchased just the same as before but instead of adding $10.50 once, you would add it twice making it $21. Afterward, subtract the total of all items from 100 and get $4.85 for your change.
