1. let n=2, then, n+2= 2+2=4 so 2^2= 4 and 4^2=16 then 16-4=12 which is an even number

2. let n=4, the. n+3=4+3=7, and 4^2=16 and 7^2=49 then 49-16 =33 which is an odd number
