8 1/4 pounds, and 6 5/8 pounds. What is the average weight pet bushel?

the average weight for a bushel of apples is 7 1/8 pounds

in order to find the average you add up all the totals and then divide that by three. so 6 1/2+8 1/4+6 5/8=21 3/8. you then take that and divide it by three giving you 7 1/8
