You find a wallet in the park, and no one notices when you pick it up. You look inside, and discover that it belongs to a very wealthy local businessman, and it contains only an identification card, and $1000 in cash. You're a poor, hardworking student, who could very much use the money. Apply the Kantian Categorical Imperative, and in a short essay (around 200 words) describe what you should do.

This seems like this a personal opinion type of essay; so this is hard to answer.. Some ideas could be to look for an ID of the business man and call him. Tell him you found his wallet and return it. You could also steal and take the money for yourself.

Not sure what the Kantian Categorical Imperative is.
