What is a mutation?
What effects can mutations have on an organism?
Are most mutations harmful or harmless?

Answer:

Mutations are when the RNA makes a mistake copying the DNA and causes genes to 'accidentally' change.

Mutations can do anything from accidentally changing hair or skin color to causing dangerous diseases.

Only a small percentage of mutations cause genetic diseases. Most of them are harmless.
