How do I find the main idea in an article?

Identify the topic and summarize the article in your own words. Most of the time from what I know the main idea is in the first OR last sentence. but I don’t know tho I could be wrong..

Or search around the article and see what the passage is talking about most.

And once you find what the passage is talking about most. That should be your main idea!
