Kingdom Monera is a biological kingdom that comprises prokaryotic organisms, which are unicellular and lack a nucleus and other membrane-bound organelles.
Monera is one of the five traditional kingdoms of living organisms, which also include Protista, Fungi, Plantae, and Animalia.
The Monera Kingdom includes bacteria and archaea, and some scientists propose that these groups should be split into two separate kingdoms due to their significant molecular and structural differences.
Bacteria can be found in various environments, including soil, water, and inside animals, and they play an important role in many ecological processes, archaea, on the other hand, are often found in extreme environments, such as hot springs and deep ocean hydrothermal vents.
