Answer:

Copper does not react with acids

Step-by-step explanation:

__________________________________________________________

According to Quora,

Copper does not react with non-oxidizing acids like hydrochloric acid or dilute sulfuric acid. As its electrode (reduction) potential is higher than that of hydrogen, pure copper cannot displace hydrogen from such acids. But copper easily reacts with oxidizing acids like nitric acid and hot, concentrated sulfuric acid.
