Rewrite this in YOUR own words please: Glucose enters most cells by facilitated diffusion. There seem to be a limiting number of glucose-transporting proteins. The rapid breakdown of glucose in the cell (a process known as glycolysis) maintains the concentration gradient.

The process of facilitated diffusions is how glucose enters most cells. There is a recognized limited number of glucose-transporting proteins. A process of glycosis known to the rapid breakdown of glucose in the cell is what helps maintain the concentration gradient.

Hope that helps :))
