Henry to take the drastic step of splitting the Church in England away from Rome. Henry ordered the Archbishop of Canterbury to grant him a divorce from Catherine, which he did. King Henry married Anne and they had a daughter, Elizabeth. However, Henry could still not produce a male heir, so he decided to remarry until he did. Hope it helps u understand it a bit!
