is it important to build cities by cutting down all the trees and clearing the forest for the country?​

At one instance when polution is at its peak we can think that it is not right to cut trees to build cities and factories

but at the same time there are so many peoples .where they will live if there were no cities as people usually migrate from village to city for job and employment.
