Briefly explain the difference between "breath-
ing" and "respiration".

There are the same thing. Respiration is the process of breathing out and in. "breath-ing" could be determined as breathing in or out, maybe both. There aren't any differences that i know of.

respiration takes place in the cells and breathing is an action where you inhale and exhale from you airways
