Read the following paragraph from the section “Why do robots need to be different for children than adults?”
Most robots with artificial intelligence are designed to recognize emotion and facial features and respond to adult behavior. It works like this: a robot looks at a person's face and takes photos of
that person with cameras and then the images are compared with a database of images the robot already has. From there, the robot can tell what emotion about the person is expressing to know
how they are feeling. Yet for the robot to be able to do this it takes a lot of data — we're talking millions and millions of images.
What is the main reason WHY the author includes this paragraph in the article?
a
to demonstrate how robots are able to differentiate between adults and children
b
to highlight robots' ability to recognize and respond to emotions
c
to describe why robots struggle to identify the emotions of children
d
to explain the work that allows robots to recognize and respond to emotions
