A circle is inscribed in a square. If the sum of the perimeter of the square and the circumference of the circle is 100cm, calculate the radius of the circle. ​

Let the side of square be x.

Perimeter of square = 4x

Diameter of circle = x

Radius of circle = x/2

Circumference of circle = 2 * 22/7 * x/2 = 22/7x

According to Question,

4x + 22/7x = 100

(28+22) / 7x = 100

50x = 700

x = 14

Hence, diameter of circle = 14 cm

Radius of circle = (14/2) cm = 7 cm
