What was the role of women during the renaissance

Renaissance women, as expected, stayed home to care for the children and the home. The men in the family worked out of the house, tending fields or in merc.

Explanation:Upper class women may have had servants and workers working for them but the women were still expected to take care of the house hold. Women could not work by themselves. Neither could they live alone if they were not married. that means they legally belonged to there husbands
