Answer:

x=-2

Explanation:

log x, log (x+2) , log (x+16) are in A.P.

2log (x+2)=log (x+2) +log (x+16)

log (x+2)²=log [(x+2)(x+16)]

(x+2)²=(x+2)(x+16)

x²+4x+4=x²+2x+16x+32

4x-18x=32-4

-14x=28

x=28/(-14)=-2
