Use Pythagorean Theorem to solve for side length AC. Round your answer to the

nearest tenth.
34 m
41 m
O AC 62.4 m
O AC = 56.2 m
O AC- 75.0 m
O AC = 53.3 m

Answer: AC=53.3

Explanation:

So we got the genious's theory that we all love/hate with

a^2 + b^2 = c^2

Now the longest side which in our case is also side (AC) is always gonna be C. So remember the longest side is always C. Since they give us the other 2 sides, we know those sides are (A) and (B) in the theorem.

So lets substitute.

34^2 + 41^2 = C^2

Simplify and It Equates to:

1156 + 1681 = c^2

2837 = c^2

Now Square Both Sides to cancel out that pesky ^2 on the (C) variable.

And you get 53.26 which rounds to 53.3 on your test. Good Luck!
