humans relied on their surroundings for materials that we use in our everyday lives. Such as cabins in the rocky mountains are often made out of pine trees, houses in the african desert are commonly made out of mud into huts, and in alaska they use ice to make igloos. People have evolved to fit where they live best. Such as African Americans have darker skin for the extreme amounts of sun they experience and northern europeans tend to be less lactose intolerant. We have modified our environment by chopping down trees to make land for our houses and we ship materials all the way around the world.
