No of package of hot dog buns = 12

No of package of hot dog = 10

To find,

The least amount of each David would need to buy.

Solution,

To find least amount of each, we must find the LCM of both numbers i.e. 12 and 10.

Prime factorisation of 12 = 2 × 2 × 3

Prime factorisation of 10 = 2 × 5

LCM of (12,10) = 2 × 2 × 3 × 5

= 60

He should buy,

60/12 = 5 package of hot dog buns and 60/10 = 6 package of hot dog.
