A line segment has coordinates (-4,-2) and (4,4). What is the slope of a line parallel to it?

i believe its 3/4

Explanation:

the slope formula is y2-y1

-----------

x2-x1

so if i did this correctly it should be 4+2/ 4+4 which leaves me with 6/8 that simplifies to 3/4
