Is it correct to say, “ I bet, they wouldn’t send their kids to school there if the place isn’t safe ” or is there a better way of saying this ?

I personally would write it as:

"I doubt they'd send their kids to school if it wasn't safe."

There are always other word choices, so you could keep what you have or you could say,

I bet, they wouldn't send their kids to that school if it wasn't safe there.

or you could choose other word choices.
