True or False. The United States does not want to choose a side. Only

when U.S. rights are threatened will they choose a side. Taking a side
would cause controversy.

Answer:

This was true during the second World War. They were isolated and were trying to stay out of it. But once they were attacked at Pearl Harbor, they joined and declared war against Japan.

Explanation: Thats what they did for WW2 they did not want to be apart of any of it but because of the pearl harbor attack they choose a side to fight on :)
