Why are hot tubs vulnerable to contamination. Will adding chlorine to a contaminated hot tub fix the issue. Explain.

The addition of chlorine to a hot-tub does not fix this issue because chlorine (and other common disinfectant) easily breakdown in high water temperature and thus cannot operate at the high temperature of the hot tubs.
