Given:

Area of rhombus = 96 cm

One diagonal = 12 cm

To find:

The other diagonal.

Solution:

We know that,

\text{Area of a rhombus}=(1)/(2)* d_1* d_2

where,
d_1\text{ and }d_2 are two diagonals of the rhombus.

Putting the given values, we get

96=(1)/(2)* 12* d_2

96=6* d_2

Divide both sides by 6.

(96)/(6)=d_2

16=d_2

Therefore, the length of the other diagonal is 16 cm.
