During one particular week, the two cars went a combined total of 1450 miles, for a total gas consumption of gallons. How many gallons were consumed by each of the two cars that week?

Car 1: 58 gallons

Cars 2: 41.43 gallons

Explanation:

I divided 1450 by 25 for the first car. For the second I divided 1450 by 35.
